Homeschool Beginner Sewing Class - 4 WEEK

Start your sewing journey with this comprehensive 4-week course designed for homeschool beginners! Over the course of 8 hours, split into 2-hour weekly sessions, you'll learn the essential skills of sewing, from fabric selection and stitch types to basic machine operation and techniques, as well as getting familiar with basic tools.

Class Fee: $200 + $20 fee for supplies (unless supplying your own)

Supplies Provided (unless you buying your own):

• Fabric (though you're welcome to bring your own)
• Hand sewing needles
• Black and white sewing thread
• Small scissors
• Needle threader
• Seam ripper
• Marking chalk
• Measuring tape
• Pins (roll of pins)
• Clips (10 per person)
• Thimble

In-Class Equipment:

• Thread and bobbins
• Iron and ironing board
• Sewing machines (available to borrow)

What You'll Learn:

• An introduction to different types of fabric and how to work with them.
• Basic stitches and techniques for machine sewing.
• How to use essential sewing tools and equipment.

Important Note: If you own a sewing machine, it's highly recommended that you bring it to each class. This will allow you to become more comfortable and proficient with your own machine. If you do not have a sewing machine, don't worry—we have machines available for you to borrow during the class.

Projects: Throughout the course, you'll complete 2-3 beginner-friendly projects that will help you practice and refine your new skills. Each project is designed to build confidence and provide hands-on experience with various sewing techniques.

To secure your spot in this class, registration is required. Please note that each session will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants, so don't wait too long to sign up!

Cancellation Policy
Life happens, we get that! If you won’t be able to attend the class you signed up for, reschedule your class with the studio. Unfortunately, we cannot provide credit for a no call no show, and all changes must be submitted 48 hours prior to the class date.

Tardiness Policy
There are a lot of steps involved the process of creating sewing; for that reason, we are unable to catch up students who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class. Tardy students are not eligible to move their class to a later date.
