Clay Mug Making Workshop
Clay Mug Making Workshop
During our mug workshop, we will explore a range of hand-building techniques to craft your very own unique mug. We'll be shaping mugs from clay slabs that have been carefully rolled out. You'll have the opportunity to infuse your mugs with distinctive textures using various tools and imaginative ideas. The focus of this class is not on painting, allowing ample time for the creation of your mug. At the conclusion of the class, you can select a glaze from our collection to add the finishing touch to your masterpiece.
The process involves an initial kiln firing, followed by dipping your creation in your chosen glaze color, and then a final firing. We will notify you by email when your finished piece is ready for pick up, which should be in approximately three weeks.
An ideal project for a diverse audience, including adults, children, and families! However, we advise against participation for those under 14 years of age.
*Please be aware that this class does not involve the use of a potter's wheel.
