During our into to wheel throwing we will explore pottery wheel techniques. You will be introduced to the exciting world of ceramic wheel throwing with our 120 minute introductory class.
At the conclusion of the class, you can select a glaze from our collection to add the finishing touch to your masterpiece that our staff will fire and glaze your piece from class. Your Piece will be ready for pick up 3 weeks after your workshop.
The process involves an initial kiln firing, followed by dipping your creation in your chosen glaze color, and then a final firing. We will notify you when your finished piece is ready for pick up, which should be in approximately three weeks.
All artwork must be picked up within a month of pickup date. In not picked up it will be donated or discarded.

*This is in our upstairs studio so you will be required to climb stairs.

To secure your spot in this workshop, registration is required. Please note that each session will be limited to a maximum of 5 participants, so don't wait too long to sign up!
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, we get that! If you won’t be able to attend the class you signed up for, reschedule your class with the studio. Unfortunately, we cannot provide credit for a no call no show, and all changes must be submitted 48 hours prior to the class date.
Tardiness Policy
There are a lot of steps involved the process of creating pottery; for that reason, we are unable to catch up students who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their class. Tardy students are not eligible to move their class to a later date.
| Clay, Tools, Supplies | All clay tools and supplies are provided, please just come wearing comfortable clothes you are okay getting clay on. Some darker clays may stain, but our class clay typically comes out in the wash. Please note class clay is for studio use only. |

After the 48 hour period, or if your class has started, we are unable to offer these two options, for any reason including COVID, illness, injury or unexpected travel. If you need to reschedule or cancel, contact us here. Classes are offered in 6 week blocks and we are not able to separate the individual sessions. |

OPEN STUDIO
Once you have taken a wheel lesson or weekly pottery class and feel comfortable using the studio independently you are welcome to start utilizing our open studio hours.
